SCWEN Academy

There are many obstacles associated with being a first-generation American or recent immigrant to the United States. As an organization, we want to reduce/and or eradicate the challenges associated with achieving success, upward mobility, and development as a new and growing community of immigrants. These obstacles exist in education, professional and career development, and economic advancement. 

 

The SCWEN Academy is designed to ignite the passions of young women and provide them with the tools and resources needed to pursue them. 

 

Interested applicants apply for our six to eight-week program that aims to help participants develop and discover their goals, and build confidence, and leadership skills. Each week in the program is assigned a theme with carefully curated experiences that help participants in the diverse areas of leadership, career exploration, professional development, health, wellness, and success mapping.

 

Duration: Six to Eight weeks 

 

Requirements: ages 16 - 21 ( Participants do not have to be enrolled in college to apply. The program is designed to help individuals find their passions and build the confidence to pursue them. The only requirement is motivation.)
