Our Mission
The Smiling Coast Women’s Empowerment Network (SCWEN)’s mission is to advance African Muslim Women in New York City and to promote the representation of African Muslim Women in leadership. SCWEN supports the educational and professional goals of African Muslim Women by providing leadership development, mentorship, resources, and opportunities for African Muslim women to give back to their communities and empower one another.

Supports the Executive Director and manages finances and marketing.
